Chicken Inasal

 Chicken Inasal Restaurant at Kuwait City

We went out last night to check out the newly opened Chicken Inasal Restaurant at Kuwait City (Besides Jollibee). We really wanted to try their chicken inasal and/or whatever we can find in their menu.

I wanted to try their Beef Spare ribs (combo 4), so I asked my wife to order combo 4 and I went straight up the stairs to get a table for us. The place was full, so I have to wait for a while to get a vacant table. After a few minutes of waiting I finally got one and waited for our order to come. I was just disappointed when I found out that they don’t have Beef spare ribs combo 4. We just ordered their chicken inasal meal with unlimited rice. We have to wait for 15-20 minutes to finally try their chicken inasal.

Food: The chicken was not as what I expected. It was not as juicy as the Bacolod Chicken Inasal. The size of the chicken is not that small as what others are saying but it’s not that big either. There’s a slice of tomato, a side dish? I was expecting an atsara to come with our inasal.

Place: The place can accommodate roughly maybe around 30 – 40 (I am really not sure about the numbers).

Price: Price was ‘OK’ considering you can eat as much rice as you can.

I would give it another try maybe next week. I would like to really try what’s on their menu (see below images for their menu).

    First time k pumunta dun take out order lng kmi.Natuwa nmn ako kc wlng pila kgya ng jollibee.Pero grabe ngorder ako ng Beef Spare Ribs ang sabi 30mins dw ako wait pra s ribs.Wait kprin kc like ng sister k.After that 45mins n nklipas wla prin hnggng ng 1hr.Grabe tagal k hinintay in the end sa2bihin n ngsteam p cla then need p i-grilled for 5 mins.Palitan knlng dw ang order k ng chicken inasal.May order n nga ako ng chicken inasal gus2 n nmn ipalit s spare ribs kng order inasal n nmn n sobrng liit nmn pla!I’m so dissappointed tlga!s tgal k nghintay d krn nbili ang spare ribs n gus2 ng sister k!Buti nlng d rn ako nkbili nun kc sbi ng mga friends k makunat at mtigas nmn ang ribs n binebenta nla.Tpos ngdine in dn dw cla at ng humihingi ng refill n rice dw ang mga customers wla n dw wait p dw ng 20mins bgo dumating ang unli rice.Next visit k dun ksma k mga friends k treat nla k dun kc like nla try ang inasal dun.This time mabilis n dumating ang order nmin kc chicken inasal lng nmn n hindi nmn bgong ihaw.iniinit lng nla dhil meron n cla nkready.super konti nmn ng atsara.Then ntpos n kmi kumain wla mn lng staff n ngoffer s amin ng unlimited rice nla..ni hindi nga kmi pinapansin at ung babaeng staff dun iniirap irapan p ung friend k…insecure yta!!!d n nga msarap ang food npkworst p ng customer service!!!dpat mgtraining mga staff nla kc maaga cla mgsasara at mawa2lan ng customer dhil s mga attitude ng staff nla!!Mabuti p s jollibee knlng kumain dhil cgurado d m mgu2stuhan food nla at ang service…Halo-halo lng msarap dun..pwde k nmn bumili s UTC ng halo-halo kysa mabwisit klng s mga tao dun..s management ng inasal n yan mgpdala kyo ng sikretong tauhan pra mgsurvey s mga tao dun pra malaman nyo n tama ang cnsbi k!!!palitan nyo n mga staff nyo dun n wlang kwenta!

    We just had our dinner there tonight and i was very disappointed with the chicken inasal inasal itself. Being a Bacolodnon, i was expecting that it would taste the same way as what we have in Bacolod. The taste was sour and so different from what we have in our own place. If they want to bring the name of Bacolod Inasal here then they should make the same taste like the original so that it’s name and the reputation of the franchiser would be maintained and kept clean. Knowing that Bacolod Inasal is very famous in our place then when it reached here in Kuwait it’s taste was so disappointing.  It’s a shame right?. And not only me who commented the same way as mine also got from some of my friends too who already went there and tried the chicken inasal, Honestly i felt ashame about it. 

    And just a comment to their gay manager or  whatever his position there, he should face the customers professionally and must welcome any comments from us be it bad or good. I tried to tell him what the real taste of their chicken inasal  as what I’d tasted today, and you know what he answered?….”Actually it’s Spanish inasal, and then he asked me “are you from Bacolod” then I proudly say “yes”. and you know what he answered right away? Well I am from Cebu…So what  is the relation of where he come from my complaint?  Is that the proper way to treat a customer? I think he needs further managerial training. He should show some politeness to his customerr. He should know how to accept constructive criticism. He should be thankful that he got such complain so that he could improve their product for a better taste. He should not be that sarcastic to the customer. And if what he told that it’s Spanish Inasal then they should not put Bacolod Inasal as the name of their restaurant be it Spanish inasal or whatever!  What is the use of putting Bacolod Inasal if your are not serving the product itself but Spanish inasal? Isn’t it that they can be question by that by the franchiser? Anyhow, other than the disappointing chicken inasal we have tasted their chicken bbq, boneless chicken skewers and beef skewers. All are tasty and so many of my friends told me too and all liked itl. Their halo halo and sago’t gulaman are  their best thirst quenchers especially for this summertime. So far this is what we have tried and I hope that they will try to improve the taste of our pride…Bacolod Chicken Inasal if they want to get best comment from the customers especially from us Bacolodnon!

      I was frustrated with their chicken inasal too. Hopefully they can do something to at least make the taste more “authentic Bacolod chicken inasal”.

      I agree with the “spanish chicken” but without the ‘inasal’ since inasal is a Hiligaynon word. “pollo a la parrilla” sounds more Spanish. 🙂

    worst restaurant i had ever been….dadayuhin m at pipila k ng mhba at mghihintay k ng mtagal for what,,,lht nlng ng menu nila laging wla puro inasal chix lng pwd then wla png kwenta dhil liit n nga wla png klmn lmn ang chix…ang mura2 lng ng chicken d2 ndi p nila mgwang lakihan,,,s inis ng asawa q after dun diretso kmi jolibbee dun 1.300 2pc chix p…s inasal 1.750 mhl yta dun ung dahon ng saging eh,,,

      I still prefer the chicken inasal from Bacolod (Manokan Country)., Iba pa din talaga ang original.

    Kumain kmi dyn kahapon..grabe ang mahal ng chicken inasal nila 1 pc chicken with rice at softdrinks…sa 1,750kd talo ka dahil ang liit ng manok at hndi pa malaman..mas malaki pa ung chicken sa pinas…unli rice nga..kaso di ka na ma papa unli rice dahil pang isang kanin lng ung manok..sa chicken tikka ung ganung price eh mabubusog ka dahil malaki ang manok…no offence po sana nmn lakihan nyo un manok nyo at bawasan ung price..thanks..

      Salamat po sa inyong kumento at sa inyong opinyon. liban po sa chicken inasal ano pa po ang na subukan nyo dun? gusto ko talagang subukan ung combo 4.

      sa may experience sa pagkain po dun pashare naman dito.

      Lets give them a chance to improve . Their on trial and error and i dont think that they deserve to be blamed already especially that they just open and they cannot handle the volume , Ganon din ang Jollibee when they got open . So para sa akin kapag may MALI at Di malasa ang pagkain  , i will try again to eat with them then if it is the same ! I will talk to the LEADER and not to the GAY MANAGER .

      Kulang yata sila sa Management .Dati may Pinoy akong nakikita jan n nagmamanage all over the place , pero dunno  which i beleive has a great leadership skills , From my past experience on managing business and people , you must be lead , coach them , show to them how and let them to it , Mas bilib ako sa Manager n tumutulong at nagcocontribute sa daily operations , kesa sa Manager na nakatayo lang and not being a part of the solution .

      Yes i agree with you just “LOOKING DELICIOUS” deceiving for nothing i dine in yesterday with my friend very disappointed with their food chicken are cold both inasal and bbq and tasteless not freshly cook because we didn’t smell the aroma while serving to us. As customers we are paying correct amount so we deserve a good and presentable HOT dish in our table…but its so COLD to the bone. We complain but they didn’t do anything…anyway there is no NEXT TIME….FIRST IMPRESSION LAST.

      Just don’t forget to make a combination of “sinamak” (vinegar with some spices), soy sauce and calamansi for you inasal ‘sawsawan’
