[tab title=”About”]Philippine Basketball Club in Kuwait (PHILBACK) in coordination with Filipino Basketball/Volleyball Referees Group in Kuwait is a non-profit and less funded sports organization holding a basketball tournament. PHILBACK primary focus is to organize and run the best recreational basketball league in Kuwait by offering the best service and professional organization on and off the field. PHILBACK provides a professional staff of referees and game coordinators, top notch customer service, scheduling to fit the teams, social and networking opportunities, daily updates via social networks, marketing and advertising. PHILBACK also gives the lowest fees and giving the best prizes and awards that benefits both players and team management. The organization is the only Filipino Basketball League in Kuwait lunches its official website. PHILBACK breaks the record of having more no/s of participants ever joined in the history of Filipino basketball tournament in Kuwait. Currently we have 56 participating teams without any repetition of players in the team.[/tab]
[tab title=”History”]PHILIPPINE BASKETBALL CLUB IN KUWAIT (PHILBACK) established in 2007 through the friendship of all teams participated in the dry run basketball tournament of the defunct PBL-KU. In the first quarter of 2008 when all the teams and players playing in the Al Quibla basketball court organized a basketball tournament which they called the KUWAIT BIG BROTHERS LEAGUE or the KBBL. The tournament started with only 6 teams playing without any uniform required. The tournament handed by Mr. Nick Niegas and Mr. Franklin James and friends. By that time the tournament is Headed by Pacific Logistics international Cargo. In the mid 2008 the KBBL changed its name to FILIPINO BASKETBALL CLUB IN KUWAIT or they called it FCBL, upon lunching the new name the organization same with lunching of the 2nd conference basketball tournament having 19 participating teams in a single division.
The game played every Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 6pm to 10pm. In the 3rd conference the organization finally established and hired professional referees and all the officers are send to basketball referees training. In 2009 some of the officers decided to leave the organization for the purpose of playing in the 4th conference basketball tournament.
In this case the organization suspends the opening of the 4th conference for one month to find persons to officiate the league. In the 4th conference FCBL struggling to find persons to help the league until two officials from the other league joined the organization and the 4th conference successfully opened and finish. In 2010 FCBL changed its name to PHILIPPINE BASKETBALL CLUB IN KUWAIT also known as PHILBACK. In this year PHILBACK re organized its officials, established newly rules and regulations, provide a top notch customer service, upgrade the way of officiating. PHILBACK after viewing the landscape of the existing Filipino basketball tournaments in Kuwait, it was found that the level of service and professionalism has slipped to mediocrity and upon review PHILBACK decided something needed to be done about this. PHILBACK PRESIDENT NICK NIEGAS coordinated to Mr. Jesnor Garcia to create a standalone referees group to overlook for the PHILBACK upcoming tournaments and they called it FILIPINO BASKETBALL REFEREES CLUB IN KUWAIT (FILBARK). PHILBACK and FILBARK lunch the brand new endeavor in the 5th conference and upcoming tournaments. Currently this 8th conference PHILBACK increases the number of division in the tournament 5’8 and under, Open, Company, Medical Divisions. PHILBACK 8th Conference is having 78 participating teams in all divisions. [/tab]

EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN ACTIVITIES CONFERENCE (EMAC) – is a regional sports league founded in 1980 that hosts tournaments in a wide range of athletic and academic activities. The conference consists of 17 American international schools from 11 nations- UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Cyprus, Jordan, Greece, Syria, and Lebanon.
INTERNATIONAL SPORTS ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (ISAC)-is a regional sport tournaments consist of American/British/Arabic schools in Kuwait and in the Gulf.

The Philippine Basketball Club In Kuwait , often abbreviated as PHILBACK . The club was founded in Al Quibla open basketball court seaside Kuwait City on February 2009. The Philippine Basketball Club in Kuwait (PHILBACK) was founded as a continuation of from the now-defunct Philippine Basketball League-Kuwait (PBL-KU),following their disbandment the league move from Shuwaikh Double Court to Quibla court in Kuwait City.There, the club continued to be popular in FRIENDSHIP,FAIR,HONEST Basketball Community in Kuwait. The Philback started with only nine (9) participating teams in 2009 and as of 6th conference the participating teams grows up to 36 teams.
